I became addicted to astrophotography in 2012 when I saw the galactic core of the Milky way from Canyonlands National Park. I started by shooting with a DSLR and after a couple of years switched to shooting with a monochrome CCD sensor and filters. In 2019, I built my own backyard observatory for imaging deep space objects and the planets.
